I seem to be missing competition entries - what should I do?
It can take up to 48 hours after you shop for the number of competition entries displayed on your member page to update. In some cases, your entry count may still appear incorrect after this time — we're aware of the problem and will have it fixed soon. Rest assured all entries will be counted before we draw a winner.
How will I know if I've won a competition?
Competition winners are determined by random draw and winners are contacted directly. Be sure to keep your My Account details up–to–date, including your email, postal address and phone number, so we can get in touch. The winner's name and state will be published in The Australian newspaper.
I forgot to show my membership card the last time I shopped. Can I still get a competition entry?
Unfortunately we can't link competition entries after the purchase has already been made, so remember to always show your My Dan Murphy's card when you shop.
What happens if the winner doesn't claim their prize?
If the prize is unclaimed 90 days after the draw, a redraw will occur and the winner will be notified.
Can I transfer My Dan Murphy's competition entries or a prize to someone else?
My Dan Murphy's competition entries and prizes are non–transferable and not exchangeable for cash.
Do my competition entries expire?
Competition entries are valid up until the current competition ends, after which time you'll go back to zero entries until you next shop.
How do I get competition entries?
You automatically get one entry into the current member competition each time you shop — this includes when you shop and show your card in–store, as well as when you sign in when you shop online. It's one entry per shop, with a limit of one entry per member per day. Tobacco and gift card purchases are excluded.
