I forgot to swipe my card when I shopped. Can I still link this purchase to my membership?
Unfortunately, we can't link purchases made without a membership card to your My Dan's account, even if you have a receipt. Remember to swipe each time you shop and if you don't have your card with you, simply quote your membership number at the register or use the Dan Murphy's app or your digital wallet.
Can I get a second membership card for a family member?
We like sharing too, but My Dan's is all about your personal tastes and interests, which means it's just one card per member. Ask your friends and family to join so they can enjoy their own personalised benefits.
Can I access member benefits if I haven't registered my temporary card?
You can earn competition entries by showing your temporary card when you shop, but only registered members can win competitions, redeem exclusive offers and enjoy additional benefits. To register your temporary card and join My Dan's, simply fill in this quick online form.
What happens if I don't have my membership card when I shop?
Your membership number is always accessible through mydanmurphys.com.au, the Dan Murphy's app and, if you have registered your My Dan’s card (see more details below), your Google Pay or Apple Wallet - sign in with your phone or the in-store kiosk, look for your membership number on your My Account page and provide it at the checkout. Our in-store team can't look up your membership by name, address or other, so you need your number to get competition entries and redeem offers.
How do I replace my damaged/lost/stolen card?
If your card's been damaged, lost or stolen, don't worry! Simply click on the 'Need A New Card?' section and follow the prompts. We'll deliver your new card in no time. (Please note: maximum 3 cards per member, per year.)
I'm having trouble registering my temporary card number when I try to join - what now?

Can I link a temporary card to a My Dan's account after I join?
You can register a temporary card when you join the program, but unfortunately, you can't link it to an existing account after you've joined.
It's been more than seven days since I joined the program and my membership card still hasn't arrived.
It generally takes five to seven working days for your card to arrive. If it hasn't arrived after this time, give our Customer Service Team a call on 1300 72 33 88. In the meantime, you can still shop using your membership number (found in My Account), mobile membership card (available through the Dan Murphy's app) or digital wallet (available through Google Pay or Apple Wallet).
How do I register a My Dan's temporary card?
Simply enter your temporary card number (located under the barcode) in step one when you join online - it's free and should only take a few minutes. Note that having a temporary card doesn't make you a My Dan's member - you still need to complete the online registration form to access your member benefits.
How do I register my My Dan’s card to my digital wallet?
My Dan’s Members can also register their My Dan’s card to their digital wallet as follows:
- By completing the necessary steps when creating your My Dan’s account through the Dan Murphy’s website; or
- Once your My Dan’s account has been created, by clicking the ‘My Dan’s card’ on the top right hand side of your account and selecting:
For Desktop setups:
‘Send to my phone’ and entering in the pin that is sent to the phone number you select to verify your phone number. Then, click on the link on the second SMS and follow the prompts to add to your Google or Apple Pay wallet.
For Mobile setups:
‘Add to wallet’ on your mobile device. Then, click on the Google or Apple Pay wallet button and follow the prompts.
Please note that Google Pay requires Android 4.4 or higher, and Apple Wallet requires iOS 10 or higher.
